The Bioness L300 Small system is intended for the independent daily use of children suffering from foot drop, a condition caused by damage to or disease of the central nervous system. The L300 Small system generates gentle functional electric stimulation (FES) of the muscle. It operates the foot simultaneously during the ambulatory stride, thus facilitating an easy, stable and safe gait.
The system is constructed of plastic, elastomer and textile materials aimed at combining strong structural functionality, springiness, flexibility and a soft touch.
The product has improved users’ ambulatory motor functioning, significantly affecting their social function, physical development and quality of life.
