Hugging design – an innovative product for preterm infants

An embracing environment contributes to the well-being of premature babies in early days and their subsequent development. This understanding led to a unique medical product, for use in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (and at home). Designed to provide a warm “nest” for premature babys, the product allows an optimal environment for the babys’ sensory development, while being far from physical contact of his parents.
