Jonathan Bar-Or Ltd. was established in 1993 with the aim of providing a comprehensive solution under one roof for companies and entrepreneurs developing medical, Hi-tech and technological products. We work in a variety of areas such as: medical consumer products, medical equipment, rehabilitation products, diagnostic devices, drug delivery interfaces, dedicated medical adhesive bandages, technological textile products and more.
The vast knowledge and extensive experience we have gained is reflected in the unique work processes that combine teamwork between design, engineering and manufacturing experts.
Our approach to design emphasizes the human aspects – physiological, cognitive, emotional and social. This approach, together with the availability of dedicated materials, thoughtful creativity and proof of practical feasibility, are what enable our company to create intuitive solutions, a friendly user experience and original aesthetics, to suit each project.
The unique work processes that our company has refined, along with our team and the diverse technological infrastructure we have at our disposal, including modeling, textile and manufacturing workshops, have allowed our many customers to fulfill their goals and receive recognition in Israel and around the world for the products we have developed.

Meet the team
Jonathan Bar-Or
CEO, Owner and Senior Designer.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (BFA), Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, 1985.
Master’s degree in Industrial Design (MFA), University of Illinois, USA, 1989.
Former faculty member at Bazalel Academy and at Perdue University, Indiana, USA.
Projects designed by Jonathan Bar-Or have gained professional recognition, have been displayed at international exhibitions and have won international prizes.
Many of these products hold registered patents.
Hadar Shapira
Senior Industrial Designer, Manages textiles at the studio.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (BFA), the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, 1984. Advanced studies program, Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Faculty Member, Bezalel Academy. Studying toward a multidisciplinary master’s degree in art, Tel Aviv University. Projects designed by Hadar Shapira have been displayed at international exhibitions in Israel and abroad.
