The Viaderm Micro is a trans-dermal drug delivery system for home use. The system consists of patches containing the medication and a handheld electronic device with a microelectrode array.
The device creates RF MicroChannels, which prepare the site for application of the drug-containing patch. The drug is then passively diffused into the inner skin layer and from there to the circulatory system.
JBD designed both the patch and the device, as an intuitive and easy-to-use system that requires minimal training.
